A Glimpse into My Life with Amar, Liz, Tucker, Dad, Grandpa & Nonna

Welcome! My story began in Texas, but in 2015, life’s adventures brought me to Johnson City to care for my mother, who was battling Alzheimer’s. While balancing motherhood and caregiving, I embraced my creative side and authored two children’s books that were published.

The warmth of the people here quickly made Johnson City feel like home, and over the years, I have found family in my friends. I’ve orchestrated memorable events for family, nonprofits, and various jobs, always fueled by my love of creativity, event planning, and attention to detail.

When The Barn went up for sale, it felt like destiny calling me. I had held parties and events here and already knew the beauty of the property, as well as the tremendous pride the Rogers family had taken in the venue. With unwavering support from friends, family, and the Rogers, I knew this was a path I was meant to take.

Since then, life has continued to grow and surprise me in the most beautiful ways. Our family has grown, new chapters have begun, and through it all, I’ve been reminded that sometimes the best parts of life are the ones you never could have planned.

Now, let me introduce you to the stars of my life…

AMAR

Amar, my husband, is one of the greatest additions to our family’s story. He came into my life and not only loved me, but embraced Liz and Tucker and the beautiful, busy life that came along with us.

He is my partner, my best friend, my voice of reason when I have another big idea, and the person who reminds me that I don’t have to carry everything on my own. He supports my dreams—even the ones that occasionally turn into entire venues—and somehow manages to keep up with the adventures that seem to follow me wherever I go.

Our story is proof to me that some of life’s greatest blessings arrive in chapters you never saw coming. Building a life with Amar, watching our families become one, and having him beside me for this adventure makes this season of life even sweeter.

LIZ

Liz, my eldest, is a vibrant and curious spirit. She has a passion for volleyball, true crime documentaries, and loves to sing wherever she goes. She can often be found watching the University of Texas play, and I love that she has a big dream of returning to my home state one day to play for the Texas Longhorns.

Liz’s zest for life, determination, and kind soul make her a joy to be around, and watching her grow into the young woman she is becoming is one of my greatest privileges.

TUCKER

Tucker, my youngest, is full of energy and enthusiasm. Whether he’s playing basketball with friends or building intricate Lego structures, his creativity and love for life are boundless.

Tucker’s infectious laugh, big personality, and imagination bring smiles to everyone around him. There is never a dull moment when Tucker is nearby, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

MY FATHER

My father, the pillar of our family, has always been a source of wisdom and strength. His stories of the past, filled with life lessons and adventures, are cherished by us all.

He takes great pride in spending time with Liz and Tucker, sharing his love for his ranch and his masterful fishing skills with them. The memories they are creating together are priceless, and watching the relationship they share is something I will always treasure.

GRANDPA THE DOG

Last, but certainly not least, is our loyal dog, Grandpa. Despite his name, Grandpa is a lively and affectionate companion who loves to play and snuggle.

His gentle nature and protective instincts make him an integral part of our family. He is always ready to offer a comforting presence, a wagging tail, or the kind of unconditional love that only a dog can give.

NONNA THE DOG

And then there’s Nonna! Every family needs a little extra personality, and Nonna certainly brings hers.

She is another four-legged member of our wonderfully busy household and has added even more love, laughter, snuggles, and occasional chaos to our days. Between Grandpa and Nonna, there is never a shortage of companionship—or puppy kisses—but we wouldn’t trade either of them for anything.

They remind us daily that family doesn’t always have two legs.

OUR NEXT CHAPTER

Life certainly hasn’t followed a perfectly straight road, but I’ve learned that some of the most beautiful destinations come from the unexpected turns.

Each day with Liz, Tucker, Amar, my father, Grandpa, and Nonna is another chapter in our family’s story—filled with love, laughter, lessons, a little chaos, and countless memories.

I am incredibly grateful for the people and pups who stand beside me, encourage my dreams, keep me grounded, and make life so much fun.

Together, we are excited to continue welcoming people into this beautiful venue and to be a small part of their own celebrations, milestones, and love stories.
